• Where the hell is Park City?

Park City is located within Summit County, the most diverse and accepting region in the state of Utah, 25 miles east of Salt Lake City.

• Who says Park City has good skiing and snowboarding?

Park City has been the home of the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Team since 1974 and the home of the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association since 1988. In 2002, Salt Lake City hosted the Winter Olympic Games and Park City hosted played host to one-third of the events.

• Are you good at math?

Alcohol plus jacuzzi plus altitude plus lots of boys in the same hot tub equals... my head hurts, I can't add right now.

• Are there gays in Utah or have they been run out of the state?

Salt Lake City has one of the highest per capita gay populations in the country. Crazy, right? Utah's population is home to a large and vibrant LGBT population which was recently ranked as fourth largest in the U.S. per capita population.

• How high will I get at Elevation Utah?

The mountains of Park City are part of the Wasatch Mountains, part of the Rocky Mountain range, which reach over 10,000 feet. The city of Park City ranges in elevation from 6,700 to 8,400 feet.

• How frigging cold is it in Park City?

Winter temperatures range between 24 to 33 degrees Fahrenheit with average snowfall in town at 143 inches and 350 inches at the resorts.

• Is Park City totally cute?

Yes. Park City's historic main street is home to over 60 buildings that are registered with the National Register of Historic Places. Main Street also is home to over unique stores ranging from clothing to gift shops, art galleries, and over 100 restaurants.

• How do we get around?

Well, the easiest way is to rent a car in Salt Lake City. They are real cheap. But, a free area-wide bus service runs throughout Park City and the surrounding ski resorts.

• How do I get to Utah and then to Park City?

The Salt Lake City International Airport is served by 9 airlines including American, Continental, Delta, Frontier, SkyWest, JetBlue, United, US Airways and Southwest. I-80 East, a six-lane highway runs from Salt Lake City to the Park City exit.

• Where am I going to ski?

Most of our activities will center around Park City Mountain Resort, but three world-class ski resorts are located within a five-mile radius, including Park City Mountain Resort, the skiing only Deer Valley Resort, and The Canyons Resort.

• Is this going to be painful?

Learning to snowboard hurts your ego as much as your butt. Snowboarding on virgin powder makes up for every ache and pain ever felt.

• Can we drink in Utah?

Yes. And the liquor laws have changed recently. No more membership crap. Plus, the alcoholic effect of one drink in Park City equals two drinks in West Hollywood or 3 drinks at a straight bar in LA.
